Laurent and Danielle have combined their vast experience and talent from diverse backgrounds to launch LB Entertainment in 2006.

Laurent Bass, Partner/Producer/Multi-instrumentalist – www.laurentbass.com

Multi-instrumentalist, producer and educator Laurent Bass is at the vanguard of solo live entertainment and is an active member of the Philadelphia jazz collective.
A native of Philadelphia, Laurent has an extensive background in Jazz, Latin, World, Nu Jazz, classical music and electronic music production. He performs on tenor, alto and soprano sax, clarinet, flute and blues harmonica. Laurent is recognized for his unique, creative and evocative electro acoustic jazzy solo performances with LB Jazz +One where he integrates live performances with cutting- edge interactive media. He is also co-founder of Mélange Jazz Collective, a premier Jazz Ensemble and performs as its lead saxophonist, clarinetist and flutist, in addition to several other jazz, Latin and world bands.

Laurent received Dubspot Producer’s Certificate in Ableton Live program in July 2014 from premier electronic school Dubspot in New York. He studied extensively with composer, clarinetist and saxophonist Norman David, Artist-in-Residence at Temple University and Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of the Arts,  with composer saxophonist Bobby Zankel and with flutist Dr. Cynthia Folio, Professor of Music Theory at Boyer College of Music and Dance. He recently attended Buster Williams School of Music and completed their Summer Jazz Intensive program. He received his Ed.M from Harvard Graduate School of Education and his B.A. from Temple University.

Danielle Rion-Bass, Managing Director/International Event Professional

Danielle brings a diverse educational and rich cultural and experiential background to the field of special events, meetings and music entertainment industry. She joined LB Entertainment in 2006 bringing with her more than 20 years of global business expertise in sales, marketing and management that took her to Europe, Mexico, South and Central America, the Caribbeans and Asia.

Danielle’s commitment to excellence has been part of LB Entertainment’s success. She loves the creative, energizing and innovative aspects of the world of special events and works closely with event professionals, musical artists and clients to help create outstanding performances. In 2010, she was the recipient of the prestigious award winning Executive Event leadership Certificate from Temple School and Tourism and Hospitality Management.

She has served on several Volunteer Committees on event planning for leading arts, cultural and design organizations. She has also actively contributing her time and resources to several events held by MPI-Philadelphia Chapter (PAMPI) and International Special Events Society (ISES).

Danielle has lived in Europe and in the U.S. and has widely traveled. She has lived in Old City for the last 20 years and loves Philadelphia for its creativity, rich history, arts and culture, and friendly business environment.
